The Beloved headband is handmade in London using excess millinery materials and a vintage motif, the exact date of origin is unknown. It is made from navy blue sinamay that has been styled into a knot at the centre of the headband. At one side of the knot a vintage paper motif is placed and carefully sewn into position. The pale blue and faded white of the flowers compliments the deep navy blue of the sinamay. By incorporating vintage materials, we are able to wear a rare piece of history while also giving the trim itself a new lease of life. The headband is lined with black organic bamboo viscose and a soft metal aliceband is sewn inside which gives it structure. It has been designed and made to sit comfortably to your head so you can wear it throughout the day without it being too tight.
As this piece is made from vintage trims it may have minor flaws. Please avoid getting the flower motif wet as it is made from paper and this may cause irreversible damage.
This headband comes inside an organic bamboo viscose fabric bag and is placed inside a foldable box. It's recommended you store the headband inside the bag and box to avoid crushing or damage.
