Here's an opportunity to add a unique touch to your outfit by making your very own headband. This class aims to teach you traditional sewing skills so you can keep on creating long after the workshop.
What should I expect? This is an online hand sewing class suitable for both beginners and those more experienced. Not all of us have a s sewing machine at home so this class is designed to teach you how to create a beautifully made accessory using hand sewing skills alone. The session will be held by Nina Kovacevic founder of War & Drobe who will guide you through the making process demonstrating each step. So that you can gets the most out of the experience only 8 spaces are available at each workshop.
What tools do I need? Once you have booked onto the class, a kit will be sent out to you. Inside you will find your chosen fabric (cut to shape), a metal aliceband, needles, pins and thread. You will also need a sharp pair of scissors (preferably embroidery scissors), a pen or chopstick (I'll explain later!), a piece of cloth, an iron and ironing board.
