The Love Letters dress is romantic both in style and meaning. It's laboriously handmade in London from ethically sourced silk. By gathering the garment around the bust, shoulders and waist the dress is constructed to be free flowing and comfortable. The fabric covered buttons that run down the front of the dress are all individually hand stitched onto the garment. The sleeves are finish with sheering elastic at the hem to give a visually striking structure to the cut. The print is an original War & Drobe design taken from letters written by my great grandfather to my great grandmother during the 2nd World War. The design is digitally printed using water-based inks that are non-toxic and no harsh chemicals or dyes are used in the process.
