Malaika which means Angel in Swahili is the name we've given to this dress as it is designed to invoke the feeling of floating away with wings. The hem length is around mid thigh depending on your height; it can be worn on its own or over tights, leggings or pants. The wide wing like sleeves feature three gathered tiers. The V shaped neck sits reasonably high with gathered panels falling over the bust. A second gathered panel at the hem adds to the voluminous A-line dress shape. The back features a hand embroidered design of a hand, a heart and a moon which symbolises trust, love and to remind ourselves to move with ease through all of the cycles of life.
Also available in colours: Chesa and Kelp
